Hosting

Hosting options — where your build lives

Every AideaMaker build comes with secure managed hosting. Choose shared infrastructure for lower cost, or a dedicated standalone instance for isolation — and move between them any time. Your data is always yours.

Your two options

Pick the hosting shape that fits

Shared hosting

Pricing set on consult

Your build runs on AideaMaker-managed infrastructure alongside other clients. Best for low-traffic sites that don't need dedicated resources.

  • Secure Linux server (AideaMaker-managed)
  • HTTPS / SSL certificate
  • Daily backups
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Shared database instance

Best for: Essential and Complete builds with moderate traffic

Not for: High-traffic sites or builds with strict data-isolation requirements

Standalone hosting

Pricing set on consult

Your own dedicated server in AideaMaker's AWS account — isolated resources, isolated database, isolated from every other client.

  • Dedicated EC2 instance (AideaMaker-managed)
  • Dedicated database (isolated from other clients)
  • HTTPS / SSL certificate
  • Daily backups
  • Uptime monitoring

Best for: Pro and Enterprise builds, high traffic, or data-sensitive use cases

Not for: Low-traffic builds where shared hosting covers everything you need

Included on every plan

  • HTTPS everywhere — no exceptions
  • Daily automated backups
  • Uptime monitoring with alerts
  • SSH-hardened, firewall-protected servers
  • AideaMaker handles OS patches and security updates
  • Cancel hosting any time — your data leaves with you
Flexibility

Move between plans any time

Your build doesn't change — we move the infrastructure underneath it. Zero downtime, one-time fee.

Upgrade: Shared → Standalone

Fee set on consult

Move from shared infrastructure to your own dedicated server without rebuilding anything. Zero downtime.

  1. We provision a dedicated server in AideaMaker's AWS
  2. Copy your database, files, and configuration
  3. Update your DNS to the new server
  4. Run full end-to-end verification
  5. Zero-downtime DNS cutover (typically under a minute)

Downgrade: Standalone → Shared

Fee set on consult

Move from a dedicated server to shared infrastructure. Only available if your build fits within shared-hosting limits.

  1. We audit your build to confirm it fits shared-hosting limits
  2. Migrate database and files to the shared environment
  3. Update DNS
  4. Zero-downtime DNS cutover
Your build, your way

Take your build with you

You own the code and data. Export to your own AWS account or any VPS at any time.

Export to your own AWS account

Fee set on consult

We hand off your entire build — code, database, configuration, and deployment runbook — to your own AWS account. From that point on, you (or any developer you hire) run it.

  1. We provision identical infrastructure in your AWS account
  2. Transfer all code via a private GitHub repository you own
  3. Migrate your database and all data
  4. Configure your deployment pipeline
  5. Deliver a full runbook (setup, maintenance, scaling)
  6. End-to-end verification before handing over credentials

Export to your own server or VPS

Fee set on consult

Already have a VPS, bare-metal, or cPanel host? We deploy your build there and hand you the documentation to run it yourself.

  1. We audit your server for compatibility (OS, Python, SSL, etc.)
  2. Deploy the build and configure the environment
  3. Migrate your database and all data
  4. Deliver a maintenance runbook
  5. End-to-end verification before handoff

Hosting questions

Can I start on Shared and upgrade to Standalone later?

Yes. The upgrade is a live migration with zero downtime — you keep your domain, your data, and your URL. A one-time migration fee applies.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You get a full database export before any servers are shut down. We keep a backup for 30 days after cancellation, then delete everything.

Do I need to manage the server?

No. On both Shared and Standalone plans, AideaMaker handles OS patches, security updates, certificate renewals, and uptime monitoring. The optional care plan adds priority support and application-layer updates.

How long does an export/offboard take?

Typically 1–3 business days depending on data size and your target environment. We schedule it to avoid peak hours.

Is my data isolated on the Shared plan?

Your application database is logically isolated — no other client can query it. The database server process is shared; the data is not.

Questions about which plan fits?

We'll scope it — and the hosting — on a free call.
