AideaMakerBot
The AideaMaker crawler reads a company's own public website so we can understand what the business does before we write to it.
What it does
It identifies itself as AideaMakerBot/1.0 and points to this page. It reads a small number of public pages of one website (the home page and pages such as About, Services and Contact), at most one request a second, and only the site's own pages.
What it respects
- It reads
robots.txtfirst and obeys it, including a crawl delay. - It never signs in, never fills in a form, never solves a bot check and never reads pages behind a login or a paywall.
- It does not read social networks, search result pages, job boards or review sites.
Turn it off for your site
Add this to your robots.txt and it will not read your site again:
User-agent: AideaMakerBot Disallow: /
